2025 NECO Results Are Out! See How To Check Yours Instantly

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the release of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE Internal) results, with 60.26% of candidates achieving five credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics.

The Registrar, Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, disclosed this on Wednesday at NECO’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State.

The nationwide examination was conducted from Monday, June 16 to Friday, July 25, 2025.

NECO advised candidates to strictly follow the official procedure to access their results online and cautioned against patronising unauthorised vendors when purchasing result-checking tokens.

Steps to Check NECO 2025 Results:

• Visit the official NECO result portal: results.neco.gov.ng

• Select the examination year (e.g., 2025) and type (SSCE Internal or External)

• Enter your NECO Examination Number

• Input your Result Checking Token Number (from the official portal or authorised vendors)

• Click “Check Result” to view your score

• Download and print a copy for record-keeping.

Prof. Wushishi further revealed that 1,144,496 candidates (84.26%) secured five credits and above, regardless of Mathematics and English performance.

Out of 1,367,210 candidates who registered (685,514 males and 681,696 females), a total of 1,358,339 sat for the exam, comprising 680,292 males and 678,047 females.

He also noted that 1,622 candidates with special needs participated, including 941 with hearing impairment (586 males and 355 females) and 191 with visual impairment (111 males and 80 females).
