2027: Fubara Finally Reveals The Governorship Candidate He’s Backing In Rivers

Fubara made the declaration on Wednesday during the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction and equipping of the Riven Medical Facility, a public-private partnership pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Rivers State.

The governor also endorsed President Bola Tinubu as his preferred presidential candidate for the 2027 election and identified Kingsley Chinda as the governorship candidate he is backing.

He urged his supporters to support all candidates contesting on the platform of the Rainbow Coalition in the next general election.

According to Fubara, the era of political confrontation in Rivers State has come to an end, adding that unity and peace are now essential for the state’s continued growth and development.

“I am supporting our Rainbow Coalition. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is our President, and he is the one we are supporting. The governorship candidate is the candidate I am supporting, and everyone who believes in me should support every candidate under the Rainbow Coalition,” the governor said.
