Keyamo shared the claim on , noting that it is a challenging decision for the former aspirant. He added that the individual is fully aware that the primary election of an opposition party has already been concluded.
According to the Minister, the former candidate has drafted and discarded multiple statements attempting to justify his acceptance of the Vice-Presidential slot to his supporters.
Keyamo wrote, “Finally, the chicken is coming home to roost. I understand someone has drafted and redrafted the statement he intends to release to mislead his supporters on why he has accepted the Vice-Presidential candidacy after a primaries that he knows has long been concluded. Drafts upon drafts have been written and torn, filled with the usual rhetoric about ‘my desire to rescue Nigeria,’ bla, bla, bla. It’s a tough decision for him, but we look forward to exposing a true turncoat and fraud during the upcoming campaigns.
