She stressed that just as no other group that merged to form the ADC operates independently, the Obidient Movement should not act alone within the party.

“My understanding is that we are all now ADC, irrespective of our diverse backgrounds from APC, PDP, APGA, SDP, Obidient, Labour, Buhari Support Organizations, and others,” Onochie wrote on her official Facebook page on Sunday.

She added, “I believe that Mr. Peter Obi and the Obidient Movement know that we are #GreaterTogether. No group can succeed standing alone inside a union—none! Just as we are not operating as separate BSOs within ADC, the Obidient Movement is not expected to stand alone. We are all ONE. We have only one house, and that house is ADC. No ifs, no buts! The movement clarified its stance following reports attributed to its National Coordinator, Yunusa Tanko, which suggested it would remain in the party even if Obi fails to clinch the nomination.
