The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has disclosed that a woman who was struck by a 22-year-old driver has tragically passed away.
In an update shared on his official communication platform today, March 24, Hundeyin revealed that the woman, along with her three children, was vending groundnuts by the roadside when they were hit by the driver who had lost control of his vehicle.
In his statement, he articulated, “A mother and her three children were vending groundnuts by the roadside when a 22-year-old driver lost control of his Mercedes Benz car and collided with them. While the children are currently undergoing treatment, the mother, unfortunately, succumbed to her injuries. Let’s prioritize safety.
