She was quickly rushed to the KNUST Hospital (Tech Hospital), where medical staff reportedly carried out cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for about 45 minutes in an attempt to revive her.

Despite the efforts of healthcare workers, she was later pronounced dead.

Her passing has thrown Ghana’s legal community into mourning, especially among colleagues from KNUST and the Ghana School of Law who knew her personally.

Fondly called Araba Tettey by friends, she was widely regarded as a disciplined and promising young lawyer with a bright future in the legal profession.

Her death has been described by many as a painful loss of a rising legal talent.

Her remains have been deposited at the KNUST Medical School mortuary pending further arrangements.
