The five-member panel of justices, led by Haruna Tsammani, reserved judgment until a later date to be communicated.

The PEPC will deliver its judgment concurrently with the petitions filed by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) against President Bola Tinubu.

The APM’s petition seeks the nullification of Tinubu’s election, citing the alleged double nomination of his running mate, Kashim Shettma.

The respondents named in the petition include the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the APC, Tinubu, Shettma, and Kabir Masari, who served as the APC’s placeholder prior to Shettma’s nomination.
