An individual identified as Isiaka Ayinde, aged 80, tragically took his own life in the Araromi Imota area of Lagos state on March 7.

The distressing discovery was made by the landlord’s children, who raised an alarm upon finding Ayinde’s lifeless body suspended from a rope tied to the burglary proof of a kitchen window. Upon notification, the deceased’s family insisted on an immediate burial, citing his advanced age and adherence to Islamic customs. The police are actively involved in the case to determine the circumstances surrounding Ayinde’s suicide.
