Among the states involved in this legislative activity are Nasarawa, Ogun, Benue, Ekiti, Anambra, Kogi, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Abia, Osun, Taraba, Imo, Kano, Yobe, and Rivers.
For instance, Nasarawa State Assembly passed its 2024 Appropriation Bill totaling N199.9 billion, as announced by Speaker Danladi Jatau on December 20, 2023. Similarly, Ogun State Assembly, in a special plenary session held in Abeokuta on June 22, reported passing seven bills and 24 motions over the past year, according to Speaker Daisi Elemide.
In Benue State, discussions focused on the ‘Benue State Civil Protection Guards (Establishment) Law 2024’, slated for passage.
