Akpata emphasized the need to review the education curriculum to integrate technology, stressing that technological literacy is essential in today’s world. He also criticized the state government’s priorities, questioning investments in projects like a museum and a five-star hotel, which he deemed misplaced.
Additionally, Akpata outlined plans to prioritize infrastructure development, citing a monthly internal revenue of N16 billion and a debt profile of N600 billion. He promised to place governance back in the hands of the people and pledged to revamp the healthcare sector by establishing healthcare centers in all 192 wards of the state to ensure accessible healthcare for all residents.
