Addressing journalists in Abuja, Oshiomhole emphasized that under the law, it is not permissible for one party to intervene in another party’s internal disputes, such as those within the PDP.

“This is purely an intra-party conflict within the PDP,” Oshiomhole stated. “Parties must adhere to the laws governing the conduct of primaries. By law, another party cannot interfere in intra-party disputes in court.”

He further highlighted the division within the PDP in Edo State both before and after their primaries, underscoring ongoing disputes among party factions.
