Key agenda items include discussions on critical party matters and decisive actions regarding the expulsion of its 2023 Presidential Candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Buba Galadima, and the entire former national working committee under Ahmed Ajuji’s leadership.
Sunday highlighted the meeting’s significance for NNPP’s leadership in advancing democracy and preparing for the 2027 general elections, stressing the essential participation of stakeholders and elders.
“All members, particularly those in significant roles, are required to attend,” Sunday stated, emphasizing the repercussions for neglecting this obligation, especially concerning anti-party activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
He reiterated the expulsion of Kwankwaso, Galadima, and the former NWC members, as well as the suspension of Kano State Governor, Abbah Yusuf, until December.
Sunday reaffirmed NNPP’s commitment to its constitution and called on INEC to uphold internal democracy for Nigeria’s democratic growth and sustainability.
