Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and legal representative for the organizers, detailed the locations in a letter addressed to Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun.

The letter, dated July 26, 2024, acknowledges IGP Egbetokun’s commitment to upholding the right to public assemblies and requests police coverage for the events. It provides a list of key protest locations, including:

1. **Abuja**: Eagle’s Square, by the Secretariat
2. **Lagos**: Alausa Park, Ikeja
3. **Benin**: Opposite Wema Bank, Akpakpava Lane
4. **Bauchi**: Opposite School of Agriculture, Tafawa Balewa Road
5. **Ibadan**: Rosewale Filling Station, Iwo Road
6. **Yobe**: Maiduguri Roundabout, opposite State Stadium
7. **Rivers**: Rainbow Roundabout and Pantani Stadium
8. **Osogbo**: Freedom Park

The letter also requests contact information for the Deputy Inspectors-General, Assistant Inspectors-General, and Commissioners of Police assigned to these events to ensure smooth and peaceful proceedings.

Additionally, the organizers propose a virtual meeting with the IGP to facilitate broader participation, led by prominent figures including Mr. Femi Falana, SAN. They are awaiting the Zoom link for this virtual meeting.

The organizers expressed their appreciation for the IGP’s support and look forward to further coordination.
