Adeleke expressed his satisfaction with the project’s progress and the quality of work, praising the contractor for meeting specifications. He noted, “The contractor has demonstrated their ability to deliver high-quality roads and bridges. I am pleased with the work being done.”
The governor explained that his hands-on approach to overseeing the project reflects his commitment to delivering on his promises. “I am not one to stay in the office while projects progress. I needed to see the work firsthand because I am in a hurry to complete it. I hope the contractor maintains this pace so we can commission the road as planned,” Adeleke added.
Following the inspection, Oguntala commended the project’s quality and highlighted the use of local engineers. “The standard of work is impressive, and we are pleased that local talent has been engaged,” she said.
The project’s consultant, Mr. Dayo Eluyemi, assured that the work is aligned with global best practices. “We are conducting integrity tests on the piles to ensure quality. We are committed to delivering the project on time as promised by the governor,” Eluyemi stated.
