In response to the rumors, the singer’s family has clarified that she succumbed to cervical cancer. Aduke Gold passed away while receiving treatment at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, leaving fans and fellow artists devastated.

Aderogbo Ajayi, Aduke Gold’s elder brother, addressed the misinformation in an interview with Gbeborun 9ja, stating, “Anyone spreading false information should stop. Our sister was ill with cervical cancer and was treated at UCH Ibadan. She passed away on a Monday. All other details are incorrect.”

Tributes have poured in for the late singer. Gospel artist Esther Igbekele posted, “A general has fallen. RIP Aduke Gold.” Tope Alabi expressed her sorrow, writing, “Aduke, you know I love you; but Jesus loves you more. Rest in perfect peace.” Actress Wumi Toriola shared broken heart emojis, while comedian Woli Agba remarked, “Aduke is gone. It is well. May God rest your soul, sis.”

Fan tributes also surfaced, including a poignant message from Mr. Talk Comedian, who recalled Aduke Gold’s aspirations and achievements. Another fan, @abereijo17, wrote, “Rest in power, queen.”
