During this visit, President Tinubu will attend the 2024 Forum on China–Africa Cooperation. Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Tinubu, revealed the details of the trip in a press briefing at the Presidential Villa on Tuesday.
Ngelale highlighted that this visit aligns with the current administration’s efforts to improve the welfare of Nigerians. Tinubu is expected to engage in discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping and sign multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). Additionally, he will meet with ten CEOs from leading Chinese companies across industries such as oil and gas, aluminum, agriculture, and satellite technology.
