Addressing his congregation, Oritsejafor shared his experience of seeking medical treatment in the USA. He noted that while he was traveling for treatment, someone he knew was also seeking help for the same aggressive form of cancer but unfortunately did not survive.
He recounted, “As I was heading to America, a person I knew was traveling to the UK with the same type of cancer. The day I was flying back to Nigeria, he was being flown home in a casket.”
Oritsejafor emphasized his gratitude, stating, “I was walking onto the plane, while he was not. I did not share my condition publicly; I looked normal because that’s how I live my life.”
He continued, “I am not better than him, but God remembered my heart. I have always been devoted to God. I promised Him that if He saved me, I would redouble my service. God fulfilled His promise, and I returned home healed.
