APC Blames Tinubu’s Policies For Rising Poverty Levels....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The All Progressives Congress (APC) acknowledged on Tuesday that the policies introduced by President Bola Tinubu have contributed to worsening economic hardship in the country.

This admission was made by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, in response to criticism from Salihu Mohammed Lukman, a former national vice chairman (North West) of the APC. Lukman had accused both the APC and its leaders, former President Muhammadu Buhari and current President Tinubu, of failing to deliver on their promises to Nigerians.

Lukman also called on opposition parties to unite and strategize to defeat the APC-led government in the 2027 elections.

In his reply, Morka defended President Tinubu’s administration, stating that while the president’s reforms have exacerbated economic challenges, they are necessary steps to revive the country’s “long broken economy.”

Morka’s statement emphasized: “President Tinubu’s administration, under the APC, is taking decisive actions to reform the economy, strengthen national security, and restore sustainable development. It is true that these reforms have resulted in increased economic difficulties for our citizens. However, it is precisely the failure of previous administrations to address these fundamental issues that has kept the economy in a prolonged state of decline.”
