Socio-political activist Aisha Yesufu has sharply criticized the Department of State Services (DSS) following the arrest of Omoyele Sowore, former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC).
Earlier reports from DAILY POST revealed that Sowore, a prominent figure in the EndBadGovernance protests, was detained by DSS operatives in Lagos on Sunday upon his return to Nigeria from the United States. Sowore later confirmed his release via a post on X.
In response to the arrest, Yesufu took to her official X account to express her disapproval. She accused the DSS of being both “shameless and unintelligent,” stating, “DSS/SSS is not only shameless but unintelligent. They fell for the bait! Kai!”
