According to the commissioner, the First Lady died on September 26, 2024, at a hospital, surrounded by her family. The statement, titled “Unexpected Sunset,” expressed deep sorrow, noting, “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, after a prolonged illness.”
“She passed away peacefully at the hospital on September 26, 2024, with her family by her side. The family submits to the will of the Almighty and requests the prayers and support of kind-hearted individuals during this challenging time.
“Additional details will be shared by the family as needed. Meanwhile, they kindly ask for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
