This was revealed in a statement issued on Saturday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, according to *Naija News*.

It can be recalled that on July 24, President Tinubu signed the North West Development Commission Bill into law, marking a key step toward the establishment of the NWDC.

“The nominated board members are expected to bring their extensive experience and expertise to the Commission’s mission of advancing the development of the North-West region,” the statement read.

The NWDC will focus on driving substantial growth, economic empowerment, and social development in the North-West. The statement further emphasized President Tinubu’s firm commitment to ensuring the success of the Commission’s mission to foster sustainable development in the region.
