“The media is a powerful tool for shaping public opinion and holding governments accountable,” Ododo stated. “It is crucial that they prioritize the dissemination of accurate and unbiased information.”

Kingsley Fanwo, the state Commissioner for Information and Communication, spoke on behalf of the governor, expressing the state government’s eagerness to collaborate with News Central Television to enhance media coverage and showcase the state’s achievements. “We believe that a strong partnership with the media will help us tell the story of Kogi State to the world,” he remarked.

Rosemary Egabor-Afolahan, Director of Commercial and Communications at News Central, welcomed the commissioner’s visit and reaffirmed the station’s commitment to supporting the Kogi State Government’s media outreach efforts. “We are honored to host the Commissioner and look forward to working closely with the Kogi State Government to promote the positive developments taking place in the state,” she said.

The meeting concluded with a tour of News Central’s headquarters, followed by an exclusive interview with Commissioner Fanwo, who pledged to explore additional avenues for collaboration, including information dissemination, media campaigns, and public enlightenment programs.
