Halilu reaffirmed his dedication to reshaping NASENI’s impact on the country’s technological landscape, stating, “In 2023, I promised to take NASENI products from the shelves to the market. A year later, I can confidently say that promise has been fulfilled.” He highlighted the significant strides made during his leadership.

Under Halilu’s direction, NASENI has successfully launched 36 market-ready products, including solar irrigation pumps, electric vehicles, and smart home systems. He also revealed plans to establish a showroom where consumers can purchase these innovations directly, enhancing access to NASENI’s offerings.

Halilu emphasized the critical role of collaboration in the agency’s recent achievements, stating, “We collaborate, we facilitate technology transfer, and we work together to domesticate and commercialize our products.” He credited partnerships with key allies and Original Equipment Manufacturers as instrumental in the development of these innovations.

Looking ahead, Halilu expressed his vision for NASENI’s future, focusing on the socio-economic development of Nigeria and aligning with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda. His goal is not only to elevate NASENI’s standing but also to ensure its innovations make a meaningful contribution to the nation’s economic growth.
