APC Heavyweight Speaks Out On Potential Threats Facing The PartyA prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Ismael Ahmed, has expressed concerns that the APC and President Bola Tinubu might have lost the 2023 presidential election if former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party (LP) candidate Peter Obi had united.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Ahmed made this statement during an interview on the Mic On podcast with Nigerian journalist Seun Okinbaloye, where he discussed the political landscape ahead of the 2027 elections.

Amidst growing speculation about the possibility of Atiku and Obi forming a strong political coalition for the 2027 election, Ahmed confirmed his concerns about such an alliance. He emphasized that if the two opposition leaders were to join forces, it could pose a serious threat to President Tinubu’s re-election bid.

The APC chieftain stated, “I never take any potential threat lightly in politics. If you look at the votes of Atiku and Obi in 2023, we could have easily lost the election if they had united. God forbid that they come together in 2027.”

Ahmed’s comments reflect the APC’s growing awareness of potential opposition coalitions that could challenge its hold on power in the next election.
