Speaking to journalists in his hometown, Ede, Adeleke dismissed claims that he made negative remarks about the president.
“I have never spoken ill of Mr. President at any point,” he stated. “Reports suggesting otherwise are false. I have maintained a collaborative relationship with the federal government and have never attacked the president in my broadcasts.”
He urged the public to disregard the misinformation, emphasizing his commitment to cooperation.
Describing the election process as smooth, Adeleke commended the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) for conducting a well-organized poll.
Similarly, the Secretary to the State Government, Teslim Igbalaye, lauded the electorate for their strong turnout and expressed confidence in the PDP’s victory.
