He also conveyed President Lula’s eagerness to host President Tinubu in Brazil, stating, “This consultation between our ministries is crucial. It builds upon previous discussions since President Lula took office in January 2023. Our goal is to continue exploring avenues to strengthen our relations across all areas.”
Ambassador Tuggar acknowledged the deep historical connections between Nigeria and Brazil, recalling that Brazil was the only Latin American country to participate in Nigeria’s independence celebrations.
“Our shared characteristics, such as our size, economies, populations, and cultures, make this visit a natural next step in our partnership,” Tuggar noted.
The talks reflect a renewed commitment to enhancing diplomatic, economic, and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
