Obi continued, “We envision a Nigeria where anyone, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to succeed. We are committed to dismantling the elite conspiracy that uses tribalism and religion to divide us. We’ve voted along tribal and religious lines in the past, but now we must vote for competence and capability.”

Governor Bala Mohammed, for his part, stressed that their collaboration goes beyond political party affiliations, religious beliefs, and regional interests for the greater good of the country. He criticized the current government for fostering division and highlighted their aim to unite Nigerians.

He said, “Our collaboration transcends party, religion, and personal interests. The current government thrives on division, but we will use knowledge, strategy, and unity to build a stronger Nigeria.”

Peter Obi’s visit signals the formation of a growing political alliance among opposition leaders, with a focus on economic recovery, national unity, and leadership accountability as the country approaches the 2027 elections.
