Former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung, has revealed that several Nigerians, including ex-ministers, are engaged in political discussions aimed at removing President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In an interview with Saturday PUNCH, Dalung stated that Tinubu’s problems are self-inflicted and warned that unless he changes his approach to governance, he will face a major shock in 2027. He also criticized President Tinubu for not treating former President Buhari with the respect he deserves.
Dalung explained, “We are in talks with many people from across the country, including former ministers and senators. However, as these discussions are still in the early stages, I must protect their identities.”
He added, “But from what is happening, I can assure you that a significant portion of the political class, across various parties, is coming together to form a united front.”
Dalung further asserted, “The predicament Tinubu finds himself in is self-created. It’s driven by his ego. He acts as though he is an emperor and believes he has already conquered Nigeria. Unless he changes his governance style, Nigerians will soon show their true stance.”
He continued, “Buhari and Tinubu worked together in 2014 to form the APC and win the election. Buhari supported Tinubu’s presidential aspirations, granting him the vice presidency and appointing five other ministers. But now, Tinubu cannot name a single special adviser he appointed for Buhari’s administration. He is not treating Buhari fairly.”
