In a candid post on his X handle on Thursday, Macaroni admitted that his financial instability stemmed from a failed investment and a scam, which wiped out his savings between 2021 and 2022. He revealed that his generosity and financial recklessness worsened the situation, forcing him to borrow money to meet obligations and fulfill responsibilities. The actor described 2024 as a turning point in his career, with films he featured in gaining international recognition, yet it was also his most difficult year, as he battled debts exceeding half a billion naira. Adding to his struggles, Macaroni disclosed that he was betrayed by someone he considered a close friend and sister, which left him deeply hurt and destabilized. Despite this, he expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of family and friends who helped him navigate the tough period. Refusing to be defeated, Macaroni emphasized his resilience, stating that he is a fighter who always finds a way to bounce back, stronger than before.
