Obidient Movement Must Fall!” – Reno Omokri Vows Revenge On Peter Obi’s Supporters

Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has declared that he made a vow to destroy Peter Obi’s Obidient movement, stating that Obi was once his political project.

Omokri asserted that he played a key role in securing Obi’s vice-presidential candidacy in 2019, a claim that contradicts former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar’s account. Atiku previously stated that former President Olusegun Obasanjo had chosen Obi for him after considering Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Chukwuma Soludo.

In an interview with News Central, Omokri alleged that members of the Obidient movement targeted him and his family with threats, forcing him to take action.

“I took a vow to destroy that movement because Peter Obi was a project of mine. I was responsible for making him Atiku Abubakar’s running mate in 2019. I have the documents to prove it,” Omokri said.

He further accused Obidients of harassing him in the UK, revealing that they tracked his jogging route and issued multiple death threats against his family.

Omokri claimed that after Peter Obi failed to intervene when he reported the threats, he resolved to use all his political influence to bring down the movement.
