Orimolade Alumni Commences Access Road Project
In a significant milestone, the Old Students of Orimolade Commercial Grammar School, Ikirun (OCGSI) have embarked on the resuscitation of the existing dilapidated access road to the school. The project kicked off with the deployment of earthmoving equipment to the site, marking a major breakthrough for the alumni. This achievement is attributed to the overwhelming support of members, demonstrating the power of collective effort.
The Exco’s efforts have been bolstered by the dedication of the Project Committee Chairman, Alhaji (Bldr) Isiaka Abimbola Oladele, and his team. The alumni also extend their gratitude to Osun State Governor, HE Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke, for his prompt approval of the project.
In related news, the 1985 set of the alumni has commenced plans to celebrate their 40th anniversary of graduation. As part of their celebrations, they intend to embark on one or two projects to leave a lasting legacy. The visit of Prof. Oyeleke Owolabi to the school on behalf of the 1985 set underscores their commitment to giving back to their alma mater.
The Orimolade Alumni Group remains dedicated to serving the school, which has played a pivotal role in shaping their lives. The association acknowledges the remarkable contributions of various sets in maintaining the school’s enviable condition and reaffirms its commitment to continued service.
