Defectors Will Regret It – Kenneth Okonkwo Slams ‘Spineless’ Opposition Politicians Fleeing To APC

His remarks followed the defection of Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, his deputy Monday Onyeme, former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, and other top PDP officials to the APC on Wednesday.

In a post shared via , Okonkwo claimed that the ongoing wave of defections would soon be regretted, citing what he described as the APC administration’s persistent incompetence and corruption.

He warned that the mismanagement under the APC government would only deepen hunger and hardship across the country, eventually leading to widespread rejection of President Bola Tinubu’s leadership.

Okonkwo added that the 2027 general election would no longer be a contest between parties but between the ruling APC and the suffering Nigerian populace.

He wrote:
“Mark my words! Within a year, these spineless, shameless, and corrupt opposition members fleeing to @OfficialAPCNg for protection from the EFCC and personal gain, at the expense of Nigeria’s economy and its people, will bitterly regret it. The ongoing incompetence and corruption of the APC will only worsen the nation’s hunger and hardship, sparking a total rejection of both the ruling party and those misguided enough to join it. In 2027, it will be the misruling @OfficialAPCNg versus the Nigerian people.”
