She revealed that she dedicated herself to a 40-day period of prayer and fasting on a remote mountain, seeking divine guidance and connection with God.

According to Chidinma, the intense spiritual retreat was filled with moments of deep emotional pain, relentless prayers, and personal struggle. She recounted sleeping in the open, fully immersed in worship and crying out to God through songs and supplication.

During the fast, she said she experienced a powerful sense of God’s presence unlike anything she had felt before. However, the journey also brought her face-to-face with a dark and life-threatening moment.

At one point, Chidinma said she stood on the edge of a cliff in the dead of night and heard a chilling voice urging her to jump. She confessed that she was moments away from obeying the voice, but was suddenly restrained by an invisible force.

“It felt like I was in an operating room where God performed surgery on my soul. I’ve been through it all, and material things no longer hold any meaning for me. God isn’t looking for perfect people,” she said.

She added: “The enemy tried to take my life. I was led to the edge of the mountain in total darkness. The devil’s voice told me to jump—it was so intense. I was ready to take the leap, but something unseen stopped me. I couldn’t move forward.”
