The fan highlighted Mr P’s evolution, recalling how many people once dismissed him as merely a dancer who lacked singing talent.
“The same person they said couldn’t sing and was only good at dancing now sings better than most. False narrative,” the fan wrote.
Responding to the message, Mr P used the opportunity to inspire fans, stressing the importance of self-worth and not tolerating disrespect or underappreciation.
“Sadly, a lot of people fall for false narratives. In life, always understand your value. Don’t settle for less, and don’t stay where you’re not respected. Value yourself enough to walk away from any place your efforts go unrecognized. #TheyLied,” he posted.
Meanwhile, veteran rapper MI Abaga has opened up about his personal journey with relationships. Speaking on the Jay On Air Podcast, MI shared that he once felt left behind as his peers married and started families while he remained single into his late 30s.
He explained that while he once regretted not marrying earlier, his perspective changed dramatically after meeting his wife just before turning 40, following the end of a previous relationship.
The ‘Bad Belle’ rapper said the experience taught him that everyone operates on their own timeline, and being emotionally and mentally ready is essential for a lasting relationship.
