The announcement was made in a statement released on Friday by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Umar Musa Ikhilor.

The nominees are:

1. Hon. (Barr.) Nosa T. Adams

2. Hon. Yakubu Oshiorenua Musa, JP

3. Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Akhabue

4. Engr. Prof. Omorodion Ignatius Ikponmwosa

Profile Summaries of the Commissioner Designates:

Hon. (Barr.) Nosa T. Adams
A seasoned legal expert and political figure, Barr. Nosa T. Adams holds degrees in Law and Human Resource Management. His career spans both public and private sectors, where he has held key leadership roles including Chairman of Egor Local Government Council, Special Adviser to the Governor of Edo State, and General Manager of Edo State Rubber Estates. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and leads the law firm Nosa Adams & Co. as Principal Partner.

Hon. Yakubu Oshiorenua Musa, JP
A renowned politician and philanthropist, Hon. Musa is also an agricultural scientist, entrepreneur, and community leader. He holds academic credentials in Agriculture and Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC-Nigeria). His previous roles include Executive Chairman of Etsako West LGA and Peace Ambassador under the International Association of World Peace Advocates. He is active in the Rotary Club of Auchi Metro.

Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Akhabue
Dr. Akhabue is a chartered accountant, businessman, and respected political leader. With degrees in Accounting and Business Administration, he has served as Executive Chairman of Esan West LGA and National President of ALGON. Internationally, he held leadership positions such as Vice President of United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLGA) and Board Member of the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF).

Engr. Prof. Omorodion Ignatius Ikponmwosa
A distinguished academic and expert in Industrial and Production Engineering, Prof. Ikponmwosa holds degrees from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, University of Benin, and Ambrose Alli University. His specialties lie in manufacturing, automation, and control systems. He is affiliated with COREN, the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC).
