The actress shared a video on Instagram on Monday showing the debris from the fallen POP, revealing that the incident occurred on Saturday, August 25.

Expressing gratitude to God, Nkechi noted that she was relieved her newly acquired car was not affected by the collapse.

She wrote: “Come to Lekki, they said. Thank God it didn’t happen inside the house and my new car wasn’t there. What would I have said? It is well with you Lekki developers.”

Meanwhile, the actress also disclosed that she had been ill for three days but received little concern from her fans.

In a video, Nkechi explained that during her offline period, only one Instagram user, identified as @patcollections, reached out to check on her. She lamented that while her followers often flood her page during giveaways, they showed no interest in her absence.

According to her, the experience was a reminder that social media attention is fleeting and that people must learn to live for themselves.

She added that once someone is gone, people quickly move on with their lives.

Having recovered, the actress announced that she would reward @patcollections with a luxury bag and ₦100,000 as a gesture of appreciation for their genuine concern.

Nkechi concluded that moving forward, her giveaways would be reserved for loyal followers who truly care, rather than those who only appear when she shares money or gifts.
