Breaking: NABTEB Unveils 2025 June/July NBC/NTC Results — See Performance Trends
The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced the release of the results for the 2025 June/July National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate (NTC) examinations.
Confirming the development on Thursday, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, revealed the results during a ceremony held at the board’s Annex Office in Abuja.
According to him, a total of 92,875 candidates registered for the exams across 1,892 centres nationwide — reflecting a 37.08% increase in enrolment and a 10.77% rise in the number of centres compared to 2024.
Out of the 89,621 candidates graded, 61,104 (68.18%) secured five credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics. Furthermore, 74,633 candidates (83.28%) obtained five credits and above with or without English and Mathematics.
Performance in individual subjects was also notable, with 93.10% of candidates passing English Language and 94.60% passing Mathematics. Dr. Mohammed noted that while more candidates passed Mathematics this year, fewer achieved success in English Language compared to the 2024 exams.
On examination malpractice, the Registrar disclosed a slight decline, with 435 candidates implicated in 516 cases — a reduction from the 349 candidates and 524 cases recorded in 2024.
He further announced that registration has commenced for the 2025 November/December NBC/NTC and ANBC/ANTC examinations, urging prospective candidates to visit the NABTEB portal or any state/zonal office for registration guidelines.
