Sophia Momodu Speaks Out: “Allow Us To Move On, I’m Not OBO’s Wife

Speaking during an Instagram Live session, Sophia shared an encounter with a male content creator who referred to her as “OBO’s wife” when he saw her in public.
She said the comment left her stunned, as she made it clear that she is not married to Davido and does not appreciate being described that way. Sophia stressed the need to respect people’s personal decisions and existing marriages.
According to her, she has moved on from the singer and urged fans to do the same, noting that everyone involved is now at peace.
She also hinted that she is currently in a relationship, adding humorously that she would not hesitate to make it public if the unnecessary labels continue.
“A content creator saw me and started hailing me as ‘Mama Imade, OBO’s wife.’ I was shocked because I’m not his wife. That description is wrong. Please stop calling me Davido’s wife. Let’s respect people’s marriages and allow those who have moved on to do so peacefully. Everyone is happy now, so let us move on in peace. If this doesn’t stop in 2025, I won’t hide the fact that I’m with someone who truly makes me happy,” she said.
