The singer and Nollywood actor shared this insight in a post on his Instagram page on Tuesday, noting that many people wrongly assume his marriage thrives solely on romance.

According to Charley Boy, while observers often describe him as being “madly in love,” they fail to understand the work, patience, and resilience required to sustain a marriage over decades.

He revealed that there are moments when he feels exhausted by the union but continues to push forward because both partners have consciously chosen to stay committed to each other for life.

Charley Boy emphasized that no marriage is “made in heaven,” explaining that lasting relationships are built through consistent effort, sacrifice, and dedication rather than perfection from the start.

He added that marriage is fragile and requires constant nurturing, stressing that he and his wife are not free from problems but have learned how to manage them. Despite the challenges, he said they remain determined to stand by each other, joking that his only struggle now is trying too hard to make it work.
