Dance-Off Drama: Trump Claims Maduro Is Mimicking Him During Venezuela Tensions
United States President Donald Trump has accused Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro of mimicking his dance moves while committing acts of violence.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Trump made the remarks during a speech to Republican lawmakers at the Kennedy Center in Washington on Tuesday, celebrating what he described as the capture of Maduro.
Describing Maduro as a brutal figure responsible for the deaths of many, Trump also referenced an alleged torture site in Caracas, though he did not provide further details.
“He gets up there and tries to imitate my dance a little bit,” Trump said. “But he’s a violent guy—he’s killed millions, he tortures people, and they even have a torture chamber in the middle of Caracas that they’re closing up.”
During his address, Trump compared himself to Maduro, highlighting the Venezuelan leader’s attempts to copy his signature dance moves. Known for dancing at his own rallies, Trump even gave a brief demonstration while speaking, joking about his wife’s dislike for his performances and contrasting his antics with those of previous US presidents.
While the raid on Maduro and his wife was a key topic, much of Trump’s speech focused on the 2026 midterm elections. He warned Republicans that failure at the polls could have political repercussions for him and reminded them of the pardons he issued to January 6 Capitol rioters.
Trump also urged lawmakers to prioritize issues affecting Americans, such as healthcare and the rising cost of living, noting widespread public concern over the affordability of basic goods.
