I’m Supporting This Candidate In 2027 – Asari Dokubo Reveals Choice

Dokubo made the declaration on Tuesday during a visit to his palace by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike. He explained that backing Tinubu is a way of reciprocating the support the President offered him in his own difficult times.

“Like you said, my friend, whatever needs to be done, I will be with you to ensure the President succeeds. Everything within my capacity, I will do to make sure he wins a second term.

“When we first met in 1992, I was not a traditional ruler, and I never imagined I would become what I am today. He stood by me in my toughest moments, and now it is my turn to stand by him and support him,” Dokubo said.

During the visit, Wike said he came to the community to thank residents for their support and to explain why they should back Tinubu in 2027. He also expressed gratitude to Dokubo for the warm reception.

“I know traditional rulers don’t typically engage in politics. But you are my friend, and I could not come to your kingdom without greeting you and wishing you a happy new year,” Wike remarked.
