Political Alert! Wike Reveals Sh*cking Reality About Rivers State
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has asserted that all political parties in Rivers State have effectively merged into a single coalition supporting President Bola Tinubu’s re‑election campaign.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Speaking on Wednesday at a stakeholders’ event in Asari‑Toru Local Government Area, Wike described the realignment as a shift from traditional party politics to a united political movement aimed at advancing the state’s interests.
“In Rivers, we don’t have any party anymore. What we have is the Renewed Hope Family. It’s a rainbow coalition,” the former Rivers State governor said.
Wike highlighted that the coalition, under the broader Renewed Hope Family initiative, has brought together former political rivals to collectively back President Tinubu while pursuing local political goals.
He added, “If you don’t belong to this family, then forget it. After delivering President Tinubu, this family will determine everything in the state, from governorship to assembly seats.”
The minister assured residents that the benefits of their support for Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election are already being felt. “This year will be even better than last year,” he said, urging citizens to maintain their commitment.
Wike expressed gratitude to community leaders and residents for their backing of Tinubu, calling their loyalty a risk that is now paying off. “Stay on this path, and you will continue to see positive results. I assure you that I will stand with you when the time comes,” he said.
Over the past month, Wike has toured multiple local government areas in Rivers, delivering what political analysts interpret as subtle criticisms of Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s re‑election bid. He accused Fubara of reneging on an agreement they reached before the lifting of the emergency rule in the state by President Tinubu.
