Kolu, who frequently works with singer and popular Nigerian streamer Carter Efe, became the subject of dating rumours with Phyna following a series of livestreams on platforms such as Twitch.

During the streams, viewers observed playful moments between the pair, including forehead kisses, arm-holding and teasing exchanges, which quickly went viral and fueled online speculation about a possible relationship.

Addressing the rumours, Phyna denied being in a romantic relationship with Kolu, stressing that their interactions were meant solely for entertainment.

She explained that she has since asked Kolu to keep clear boundaries, adding that any future collaborations between them would be strictly as friends.

The former reality TV star also expressed surprise at claims that Kolu had developed romantic feelings, noting that she viewed their time together as harmless fun.

“I have told Kolu to stay away from me, so if you see us together again, it means he has agreed to remain just friends,” she said.

Phyna added that she chose to show kindness to Kolu, saying, “If Kolu was with Carter Efe, he would be using slaps to scatter him, so I decided to show him love from my end.”

The rumours intensified after Carter Efe jokingly claimed during a livestream that Phyna and Kolu were dating and further alleged that Kolu bought a new car for her — an allegation Kolu later clarified was linked to heartbreak rather than romance.
