Dated January 28, 2026, the petition was submitted to the Delta State Police Command through Leonard’s legal team, Uche Okoro & Co.

In the document, Leonard alleged that Ontop had, over more than two years, repeatedly made statements that tarnished his reputation without provocation. He claimed that the filmmaker circulated stories that portrayed him negatively, creating a false public image.

Leonard described these actions as deliberate and damaging to both his personal and professional life.

The actor later made the petition public by posting it on his Instagram page on Monday. In the post, he warned that he would pursue legal action and hold all responsible parties accountable.

He further emphasized that anyone making claims or allegations against him must provide evidence, stating that his case would serve as a warning to others who might engage in similar behavior.

Leonard wrote:
“Mr. Stanley Chibueze Ajemba a.k.a Stanley Ontop. You have been served. The law will take its course to the fullest extent. You first; others will follow. If you claim or allege, you must prove it with evidence. I’m coming for you.”
