Sh*ck As Broda Shaggi Is Shot During Skit Filming, Rushed To Hospital

According to reports by Punch, the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in the Sango-Ota area of Ogun State.
While the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unclear, a police source who spoke anonymously revealed that the entertainer was injured while filming a comedy skit at the location.
The source said Broda Shaggi was immediately taken to Blooming Care Hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos State, where he received initial medical attention.
“He was filming a skit under the Sango-Ota bridge when the gunshot occurred. We don’t yet know exactly how it happened, but members of his crew quickly rushed him to the hospital,” the source explained.
Medical staff at the facility reportedly provided him with first aid shortly after he arrived.
Further findings indicated that he was later transferred to Duchess Hospital in the Government Residential Area of Ikeja, where he is currently recovering.
Speaking on the incident on Thursday, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed that the hospital had notified the police about the gunshot case.
“The hospital informed the police that a gunshot victim had been brought in. Detectives and a patrol team were immediately dispatched to the hospital, where it was discovered that the victim was the skit maker and influencer popularly known as Broda Shaggi.
“He was on a stretcher with a gunshot wound to his thigh. The incident reportedly happened in Sango-Ota, which is outside our jurisdiction, but investigations are ongoing,” she said.
However, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, Oluseyi Babaseyi, stated that the incident had not been officially reported to the police in the state.
“The incident was said to have happened in Ogun State, but we have not received any report about it,” he said.
