The attack, which reportedly claimed the lives of over 30 people, has sparked widespread outrage and renewed concerns over insecurity in the country.

In a strongly worded message shared on her official social media page on Monday, the senator condemned the killings, describing the incident as yet another indication that many Nigerians remain vulnerable.

She also expressed disappointment, noting a disconnect between the assurances given by the defence chief during his Senate screening and the current security situation.

Akpoti-Uduaghan urged him to take responsibility by delivering concrete results, stressing that Nigerians expect more than promises.
