Kogi PDP Chairman Gambo Declares Natasha Best Senator In State History, Backs Re-election

Gambo made the statement on Friday in Lokoja while receiving a delegation of PDP members, where he also called on voters in Kogi Central to re-elect the senator in 2027. He praised Natasha as a “rare breed” politician whose leadership, according to him, has brought greater visibility and development to the state.

He noted that the senator has remained loyal to the party and consistently supported PDP structures in Kogi State. Gambo further commended her performance in the 10th National Assembly, saying her first term has already distinguished her and placed Kogi Central in the national spotlight.

According to him, “She has shown exceptional leadership qualities. When she speaks, members listen. She is our leader at the state level, and we are proud of her stewardship. She is the best Senator Kogi has had since 1999. We cannot afford to change a winning team.”

The PDP chairman also pointed to Natasha’s empowerment initiatives, including support for widows, youths, and small business owners, as well as the distribution of vehicles, equipment, and learning materials. He added that her development projects have strengthened her popularity across the district, noting that her name has become widely recognised in Kogi Central.

He further stated that her record in office remains impressive, highlighting her contributions to infrastructure such as schools, roads, and market upgrades, which he said reflect strong vision and impact within a relatively short time in office.
