Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has said former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, is now facing the same justice system he once defended while in government.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Sowore made the remarks during an appearance at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday.

He accused Malami of showing confidence in a flawed system during the administration of late former President Muhammadu Buhari, arguing that the former AGF is now experiencing the consequences firsthand.

According to Sowore, warnings about weaknesses in the justice system were ignored at the time, but events have now turned the spotlight on those who once upheld it.

He maintained that the current situation reflects deeper problems within the system, insisting its failures affect not only ordinary citizens but also former power holders.

In a symbolic gesture, Sowore offered Malami a revolutionary cap, using the moment to underscore what he described as the irony of the former AGF’s predicament.

Despite his criticism, he acknowledged Malami’s composure, noting that he appeared strong amid the situation.

Sowore also broadened his remarks to criticise the wider justice system, arguing that its flaws have become so deep-rooted that even those once seen as beneficiaries are now affected.

He stressed that his position remains unchanged, saying he and others would continue resisting what they view as oppression regardless of who is impacted.
