Speaking on Arise Television’s Prime Time on Monday, Kingibe expressed concern over worsening insecurity, economic hardship, and rising living costs across the nation.
She noted that food insecurity has reached what she described as its worst level, while also criticizing what she called unbearable tax burdens and the likelihood of further increases.
According to her, multiple sectors are under severe strain, including electricity supply, security, and general economic stability, adding that “everything in the country is melting down.”
She further lamented the difficulty Nigerians face even in basic communication, saying people often struggle to complete simple phone calls due to network challenges.
Kingibe stressed that the situation has left citizens frustrated and fatigued, arguing that the issue goes beyond political ambition. She said the reality is that most Nigerians are simply exhausted by the struggle of everyday survival.
She also expressed support for opposition collaborations driven by national interest, rather than personal or political gain.
