The group claimed it is now ready to act following the breakdown of negotiations, raising fears about the fate of those held captive.
In a video statement, a spokesperson for the faction said all dialogue with authorities had ended, indicating that the group no longer intends to continue discussions.
The group also dismissed ransom negotiations, stating that previously reported figures were unofficial and insisting that financial offers would not affect its stance.
It further warned against any military rescue attempts, claiming such operations could put the lives of captives at greater risk. The group also criticised government responses and issued threats directed at certain public figures.
Meanwhile, the Borno South Youth Alliance has expressed alarm over the situation, cautioning that the expiration of the ultimatum could lead to violence against those in captivity.
In a statement, the group said efforts to secure additional time had failed, increasing anxiety over possible developments.
The organisation noted that it had previously acted as a humanitarian intermediary, helping to delay harm to captives through dialogue and appeals.
It also accused authorities of not responding adequately despite repeated appeals to senior officials, including Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Babagana Umara Zulum.
The group called on the international community and humanitarian organisations to intervene urgently to prevent loss of lives.
The development has heightened fear among affected communities, with security agencies yet to issue an official response at the time of this report.
